Written in 1978 by Nobel Prize winning playwright Harold Pinter, Betrayal is a love triangle involving a woman, her husband and her lover, that unfolds in reverse. Betrayal is a psychologically intense, sophisticated drama where the pauses and things left unsaid are as important as the dialogue.

To close the season, the Belfry is partnering with Pacific Opera Victoria to present a landmark of Québec theatre, Albertine en cinq temps – L’opéra. This new operatic adaptation follows one woman at five stages of her life, as memory, identity, and emotion collide.
