Ballet Victoria brings Aladdin to life with bold storytelling and visual flair. Rooted in the folk story from One Thousand and One Nights, Aladdin has long inspired adaptations across stage and screen. Ballet Victoria’s newest creation honours those origins while offering a fresh artistic vision that breathes new life into the beloved narrative.
The music features timeless classics such as Saint-Saëns’ Bacchanale, Borodin’s Polovstian Dances, as well as excerpts of Hans Zimmer’s Dune soundtrack and more. This unique and seamless score drives spectacular choreography filled dramatic acting and touches of humour. Adding to this feast for the senses, the new original costumes by Jane Wood and projections by Jason King fill stage with exotic flair and special effects.
