Art of the Cocktail is one of the most anticipated nights on Victoria’s social calendar. An important fundraiser for the Victoria Film Festival, this prestigious evening features amazing cocktails, delicious food, photos, and plenty of fun. This year’s event will be held October 24 at the Crystal Garden.
The following day, October 25, the historic venue will be transformed into a chocolate lover’s dream. Over its first three years, Chocolate: A Tasting Event has established itself as a can’t-miss experience for people of all ages. This VFF fundraiser showcases the samples and wares of many of Western Canada’s top chocolatiers.
ART OF THE COCKTAIL
This year’s edition of Victoria’s ultimate cocktail party invites you to Midnight at the Grand Hotel. Picture Europe in the late 1930s, where diplomats and movie stars rub shoulders. The glamour is unforgettable. The cocktails have never been better.
Everyone will be dressed to impress. How will you style your look for the Best Dressed Competition? One lucky winner will take home four tickets to the Victoria Film Festival’s Opening Gala in February. Strike a pose for our photographers and capture the evening with your own selfies.
More than 40 local and national cocktail creators and brands will be serving up impressive cocktails, and we’ll have delicious bites. Sip timeless classics and sample exciting new creations dreamed up by master mixologists.

VIP Grand Tasting tickets are already sold out, but General Grand Tasting tickets are still available. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with tickets priced at $89 + tax.

Chocolate: A Tasting Event returns to the Crystal Garden for its fourth edition on October 25.
Bars, candy, cookies, truffles and more. If it’s chocolate, you’ll find it here. Renowned chocolatiers including UKAW Canada, Uncouth Chocolate, The Chocolate Project, Terrible Truffles, and many more will be on hand to tempt your taste buds. Each chocolate maker will offer samples, with plenty of opportunities to purchase your favourite delicacies to take home.
In addition to the tastings, the event will feature live demonstrations and talks. Meet the makers, discover their craft, and learn more about the fascinating world of chocolate.
