Victoria, BC — If you love to sing and are looking for a vibrant musical community, the Linden Singers of Victoria are inviting new members to audition for their 2025–26 season.
Founded in the 1970s as a small caroling group, the Linden Singers have grown into one of Victoria’s most respected mixed-voice choirs. With 30 to 40 auditioned members from diverse backgrounds, the choir is known for its musical excellence and strong community spirit.
The choir’s upcoming season promises an exciting lineup, including a special holiday collaboration with Victoria’s Festive Brass. Caroling gigs continue to be a cherished part of the choir’s seasonal activities, bringing music to streets, seniors’ homes, and community events throughout the city.
The choir performs a wide range of music, from classical to contemporary, sacred to secular, typically presenting two to three major concerts each season. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from September through May. While commitment is expected, members are rewarded with inspiration, musical growth, and plenty of fun.
The Linden Singers are currently seeking singers for the 2025-26 season, with a particular need for Altos, Tenors, and Basses. Auditions times are still available, and those interested are encouraged to reach out and become part of a group that has been building community through song for over four decades.
