Paul Oakenfold’s decades-long career as a DJ and producer has seen him play residencies at the world’s biggest venues and earn the biggest awards the industry has to offer, not to mention an honour from the late Queen Elizabeth herself as a “Pioneer of the Nation” for his contributions to dance music.
Oakenfold may be the only DJ who can list past performances at Area 51, Stonehenge, The Great Wall of China, and base camp at Mt. Everest. Don’t miss the opportunity to catch one of the best to do it, in Victoria at Capital Ballroom on October 18th.
Choir! Choir! Choir! Ask the question: “Why see a show when you can BE the show!” For the uninitiated, expect a fully interactive show, where the audience members sing along with hundreds of other music lovers. All voices welcome, no experience necessary.
Formed in 2011 by directors Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman, Choir! Choir! Choir! has since become a Canadian (and international) phenomenon, collaborating with renowned performers Patti Smith, David Byrne, Brandi Carlile, Rufus Wainwright, and Kermit the Frog, among others.
Don’t miss Un-Silent Night, their one-of-a-kind performance of holiday classics and seasonal pop gems, December 9th at Royal Theatre. It promises to be the warmest and fuzziest event of the holiday season.
