Acclaimed performer and musician Zachary Stevenson is returning to British Columbia this holiday season to headline his signature concert event, A Holly Jolly Christmas, a family-friendly performance for all ages. Known for his award-winning portrayal in The Buddy Holly Story and his distinct theme-based performances ranging from vintage rock ’n’ roll and ’60s pop to country and jazz, Stevenson brings his latest seasonal performance blending traditional Christmas classics with major rock’n’roll hits from the 1950s and 1960s to venues across BC’s Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Accompanying Stevenson on stage is his all-star backing band, alongside special guest artists Molly Jean and Darcy Jo of The Lovettes—Chicago’s premier ’60s-style girl group.
Critics have lauded Stevenson’s stage presence ahead of the run. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune noted, “If you don’t like him, you don’t like much of anybody!”, while Mark Robbins of Vancouver Presents described his performance as “the epitome of effortless cool […] gorgeous voice and a star-quality stage presence.”
